Zulgar Cheema M.M.Inst.V and SONY I.C.E. will be hosting our informative masterclasses on the day. With over twenty years of filming and editing experience, Zulqar Cheema has been using Sony Vegas for the past ten years since its release as version 3.0.  Zulqar has also taught "video for beginners" at the local Colleges in the past and also been a contributor in "Video Skills" a training book for the Institute of Videographer (www.iov.co.k).  He has worked for Sony Creative Software, attending major shows demonstrating and running seminars on Sony Vegas at such venues as the BVE in London, the IOV show at the Richo Arena, Dubai show and various in-house training for SCS.

Zulqar has also  completed the official Sony Vegas user, editor and now the Trainer courses, makes him qualified to officially offer training from novices to advanced.
You can also find Zulqar on various bulletin boards contributing to questions about Sony products.

Also attending will be Spencer Doran from Octica Professional in UK.
Spencer will be demonstrating a selection of products from his array of top class broadcast products such as Protech, Chrosziel, Konova, Shape, Bebob and Cineroid. He will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and give one-to-one demos.

There will be two identical informative sessions on the day,
both presented by Shane Cowley of Canon

Wednesday the 20th of February

10.30 – 13.00 and 14.30 to 17.00

Both sessions will focus on the award winning Canon XF and Cinema range.

Tim Constable of Rycote will be present demonstrating their latest innovations.

Pro Audio will also be in attendance with a full range of Sennheiser Audio products on display.

Sony PMW-EX1R Discontinuation Notice

The PMW-EX1R was launched in 2009 as the successor of the PMW-EX1 first ever Sony Solid-State camcorder. XDCAM EX has now become the dominant solid-state format of choice for a wide range of customers from videographers to broadcasters all sold on the outstanding picture performance and efficient workflow. Its replacement, the PMW-200 is going to be launched in September 2012, offering all the great benefits of the EX1R, plus more features such as 4:2:2 50Mbit recording and more. The PMW-200 will be recognised by customers as the solid-state compact camcorder of choice for a wide variety of users from entry-level event videographer through to broadcast news and documentary production.
